Review of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) by Ken S — 31 Mar 2012
The second Austin Powers film is just about as enjoyable as the first film. The innuendo and toilet humor jokes begin to wear a bit thin and become overused by the end, but the film is a solid follow-up to the original.
It finds more things in the Bond series to poke fun at, and finds a few good sci-fi and time travel gags as well. Mini-Me is a nice addition to the series, but Fat Basterd isn't one of my favorite characters.
Rob Lowe is great as the young Number 2. All in all solid sequel to the first installment, despite it's flaws.
