Review of Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) by Andrew P — 10 Jan 2013
Mike Myers' Bond-spoof threequel is good for a short burst of groovy gags and lewd laughs, but there's no denying that good old Austin's lost more than just his mojo since the first movie. Goldmember is funny for the most part, but it's difficult to shake the feeling that, this time around, Myers and co-writer Michael McCullers are simply trying way too hard.
Michael Caine, Beyonce Knowles and now a FOURTH Mike Myers Character?! Oh, behave.
