Review of August Rush (2007) by Brittany R — 12 Apr 2011
I don't care what the snobby critics say, I loved this movie. It was magical and moving. A mother who just found out her son is alive, a father who doesn't know he has a son, and an orphaned boy who knows his parents are out there somewhere.
.. all of them separated by external forces for 11 years, all of them searching for the other and using music to do so. I was so enthralled by this, it felt like I was literally right beside them as they found their way to eachother and everything came full circle.
Bonus: Jonathan Rhys Meyers can sing his little heart out. Damn.
