Sweet, sad movie about 2 brilliant musicians, who spend one wonderful night together and then are torn apart.

A child is born and the mother is lead to believe he dies at birth, setting in motion the rest of the movie. The mother spends her life looking for him, the father spends his life looking for her and the boy just KNOWS in his heart that if he could create the correct musical composition [he is brilliant with music], his parent's would hear it and come back to him.

I agree with Richard Roeper in how the end is shot. It DOES feel hurried and shot at weird angles. And we are left sort of hanging, which is disappointing.

This is a strange, mostly unbelievable movie, but it does have parts that are really redeeming and sweet. Keri Russell is really good as the Mom.

Robin Williams has a cameo in this and believe me, HE IS CREEPY!!!! Very ICKY!!! Was really surprised by his role, which he plays perfectly!
