This movie's message is a very interesting, yet underdeveloped one and isn't presented with the traction that it needed to grow. For me, August Rush turned into a very average movie. There are weird sequences and interesting scenes, and that hurts the pacing and consistency of the movie.
It hurts to have below average acting and a boring plot line.
