Review of August Rush (2007) by Liz K — 19 Sep 2014
I forget how good this movie is unless I'm watching it again for the first time after a long while. That always seems to be the case with my favorite movies. They make me feel something that's akin to a sad longing in my stomach, and I dunno why I like that, but I think I like when media of any kinda is able to evoke emotion, and that one seems to be the hardest to come by.
The acting is phenomenal all the way around, and the premise of some people never forgetting how to listen and real love having intrinsic connections is something I can very much get on board with. I do so miss you Robin Williams.
