Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Edin S — 05 Mar 2014

Definitely one of Meryl Streeps best performances but not the best film she has been in. Same can be said for Julia Roberts. These women are two acting behemoths and its wonderful to see these two challenge each other.

It is wonderfully acted by most of the cast and the family itself is very dysfunctional and has a lot of secrets, but there seems to be something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. Good film but only because of the two leads.
