Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Melanie A — 05 Mar 2014
Amazing performances by all, strong female characters portrayed by great actresses. Dark, manipulative and sad, M. Streep was by far the standout, but I believe this was J. Roberts' best role to date.
The story of this dysfunctional family is bleak, sad and heartbreaking, but the few comedic moments were brilliant. Great movie, unfortunate the cast was not rewarded with any awards.
