Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Frank G — 14 Apr 2014
The movie is NOT perfect but what movie is? I gave it 5 stars because of Meryl's performance. The scene in which she tells her daughters outside in the bench swing about the Christmas present she wanted to have to impress a boy and what her mother gift wrapped instead broke my heart and led me to tears.
It was a heartbreaking and sad scene to watch, especially with Meryl's brilliant acting. That scene is worth watching the entire movie!
