Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Eytan D — 28 Apr 2014
Family dysfunction has hit an all-time high in "August: Osage County". Written by Tracy Letts, the tremendously talented playwright behind "Bug" and "Killer Joe", this adaptation of his Pulitzer Prize-winning play is insane, heartbreaking, bitter, and hilarious all at the same time.
Not to mention that both Letts and director John Wells have assembled an A-grade ensemble, led by two powerhouse performances from the incomparable Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.
