Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Shiela E — 07 Jun 2014
Lots of mixed reviews on this one, so I wasn't sure what I would think. I ended up liking it quite a bit. It resembled a train wreck-disturbing but you can't look away lol.
Trust me, no matter how messed up your family is, how mean they are to each other, this one is probably worse. these people are AWFUL to each other, and it's just fascinating to watch, to see what the hell they are going to say or do next. and benedict cumberbatch in his small role is adorably sweet-probably the only half-way normal, genuinely nice person in the movie.
