It's not your garden-variety feel-good Hallmark-channel Hollywood movie. People are probably going to hate the realism involved in the characters' emotions and motivation. The actors (particularly Meryl Streep and Benedict Cumberpatch) bring wonderful performances to the table.
If your general cup of tea is a Disney production you won't get any of the sappy, fairy-tale sequences and dialog that prevent movies from being an accurate portrayal of real life.
