Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Luciana S — 03 Jan 2015

First and for most the acting in this film is outstanding. Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are at their best. The chemistry with everyone is also outstanding. August Osage County let's us take a look at the life of this dysfunctional family.

You can truly feel the characters pain and anger. Many people can relate to the problems that this family is going through. One tragic event brings this family together and makes them act like they know eachother and are there for eachother.

In reality this family is broken beyond repair. The fighting is nonstop throughout the film and the film doesn't explore anything beyond the immediate fighting and anger. A dark film with a sad ending, but this is reality for many people.
