Review of Audrey Rose (1977) by Zahran Z — 15 Dec 2010
Pretentious new-agey claptrap attempting to pass itself off as horror, "Audrey Rose" is plodding, poorly acted, tedious, and not the least bit scary. Only Anthony Hopkins manages to successfully survive this misfire with his dignity intact.
It doesn't help that I watched "The Exorcist" a few nights prior to this. Remember, kids: demonic possession=scary. Reincarnation=boring.
