Review of Audition (2000) by Russell A — 26 Aug 2010
I don't care what they say about you, I still like you. Praise the Japanese, they are just on another level when it comes to horror making. They're the only ones that actually try new things. Not rehashing the same shit back to us.(yay no more corny Freddy, hes scary now. Fuck you.).
If you're an American or lived here for a day, then you won't be familiar with how the movie is structured. It's called a slow burner, the entire movie is to take you(2 hrs btw) to the final 10 minutes. You know kinda like watching Lost, (but your questions are actually answered, not giving you 54 more fucking questions.)But well worth it. You finally find out what's in that giant knapsack. Which is a deaf, blind, mutilated, I guess you can it a man, who is kept alive by feeding off of her vomit. Either that sentence turned you off or enticed you.
That's not even the climax.
Actually read a review from the critic at the Boston globe saying the moment of inception to the climax took too long. That's kinda the fucking point dipshit. Go crash your car into an aids tree you fuck.
And you watch the movie. You won't be glad you did. Why would you want to be glad to have watched a horror movie?
