Oh Takashi Miike, you scamp! You love to torture us fans with brutal and nightmarish stories! But that's why we love you! But to all you non-fans, if you are remotely squeamish in any way, dont watch this, you will have nightmares upon nightmares.
Other than that, Audition is an average horror flick with inhuman gore.
