Review of Audition (2000) by Ozymandias79 — 28 Jun 2014
Wasn't sure about the horror element until the end when it turns into a snuff film. A hugely psychological film open to interpretation. I think the extreme scenarios were invented by the protagonist because of guilt felt for moving on from his first wife.
But the movie finishes with the horror scenario played out in full. Certainly up there with the best of J-horror.
