Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Chris S — 28 Mar 2008
I cried in the last scene. The film has a very tragic and dramatic yet poetic ending. The main characters are very sympathetic, and the character development and the way that Julien and Jean slowly become friends are very well done.
I also love the overall cold blue color palette of the film. This film has a deeper impact and effect than The Pianist or Aimee and Jaguar.
