Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Jason A — 01 Oct 2008
My first Malle film I think, and wow was this movie amazing. Tragic story, told in a very subtle and calm way. The film feels like a throwback to some neo-realist films, all of the sets feel real so do the actors, which is a testament to Malle and the crew, a great great movie.
