Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Paul P — 17 Dec 2011
Louis Malle's Au revoir les enfants is actually a film based on Malle's own childhood. The movie is set in the German occupied France where the 11-year-old Julien (Malle's alter ego) who's in Catholic boarding school, where he discover a new student who in reality is a Jew who's is hiding from the Germans.
Au revoir les enfants is a good film about a warm friendship between two different people, who is chrildren and actually don't know much about the war and all it's commotion. I give this movie a thumbs up.
