Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Strapped P — 15 Oct 2012
I don't know if RT critics just love the Bristish or they were paid off but 90%? Not even close. I am seeing a lot of recycled quotes in these reviews. It wasn't a bad movie, it wasn't extremely boring.
Good? Great? Nah. Would I watch it again? Rather not. I don't see how it could get anymore interesting. I'm not sure if it wasn't suppose to be a Shaun of the Dead type film; in that case, it lacked big time on the funny level.
None of the characters were loveable enough, I wanted them all to die. The 'aliens' were too creepy too be comical and they did nothing funny. The filmmakers seemed to not know if they wanted this film to be serious or funny but they sure as Satan wasn't both.
It's worth watching once.
