Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Steven L — 15 May 2013
This science fiction comedy is conceptually strong--aliens invade a run-down block in South London and a bunch of outcasts have to find a way to destroy them before it's too late. The action is fun and fresh.
The aliens are both scary and cuddly. It's diverse cast helps with mass market appeal.
