Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Anthony P — 29 Aug 2013

An alien invasion movie with a very fresh twist. Aliens hit Earth and attack a tower in the PJ's, where they encounter a rag-tag group of juvenile delinquents and a psychotic drug dealer who give these invaders a hell of a fight.

Love the special effects, these aliens are very different and very cool. Solid performances all around the table, and the writing finds clever ways to be funny (although at points the thick English slang can be a little hard to decode).

All in all, I'll be adding this to my at home collection, and you should too.
