Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Shane O — 25 Dec 2013
When "Attack the Block" is good, it is good. The original concept of a gang of teenagers taking on an alien invasion, presented in its darkly comic tone can provide plenty of good laughs and thrills.
This just makes it all the more unfortunate that it is brought down by its own goofiness, a confused change of pace and characters that can hardly be considered likable.
