Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Cameron V — 05 Jul 2012
If you've seen SHAUN OF THE DEAD or HOT FUZZ, this is a sci-fi/alien invasion film that does the same sort of updating/homage (Edgar Wright produces and Nick Frost has a small role but otherwise different creative team).
Very excellent and entertaining. Think SUPER 8 if hadn't sucked ass and had an ounce of originality. This is yet another that would make my list of the best of 2011.
