Review of Attack of the Puppet People (1958) by James B — 29 May 2009
This is a sort of Twilight Zone production for the big screen, except that the increase in length is not filled with an increase in tension or story. There is nothing necessarily wrong the movie, it just lacks an efficient oomph behind the plot and the terror that should be portrayed, probably due to a lack in budget and solid writing.
A contrived plot is still better than some, and so fun to watch if you donâ??t expect much.
