Review of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (1978) by James O — 02 Feb 2011

After I saw this movie, I just hyperventilated. No joke. It's that ridiculous. Here's the basic layout: Tomatoes from around the country start attacking and eating people. That's it. Oh, and there's a guy named Dixon trying to find out who's behind it all, along with his dopey partner who always walks around with his parachute STILL open.

Little SPOILER here, but the only thing that can stop the tomatoes is........(wait for it)........a terrible song called, "Puberty Love", which is the worse song you will ever hear (I think any Justin Bieber song is worse, though).

My all time favorite moment is when a guy attempts to infiltrate the tomato camp by dressing in a tomato costume (just go with it) and while he and his vegetable (actually, fruity) buddies are hanging around a campfire eating, he makes the most politically incorrect request EVER: "Can you please pass the ketchup?" The ending is so ridiculous, your brain will either explode upon seeing it or you'll stare at a wall for an extended period of time.

Also, you've definitely gotta love that theme song!
