Review of Attack of the Killer Donuts (2016) by Tor M — 21 Sep 2017
Well, the title says it all - donuts killing people. That's hillarious. Some looser fella, living at home with his mom, with a lousy job at a shabby donut shop and a "girl" that takes his few earnings, is our protagonist here. His uncle has made some gooey green stuff making living things go crazy. It turns out donuts go crazy too after he mixes the stuff into the cooking oil.
We have the cops, we have the sidekicks, we have the homeless guy living in the shop, we got the good looking girls, the weird friends and some other characters here. This is a very solid B-movie. You know it won't be Oscar material, but you hope it's fun and worth your time. It sure was. Some great lines, nice characters, done perfectly stupid at times. There are few flat parts so you won't get bored. Great "bad film" for fans of the genre.
6 out of 10 donut teeth.
