Review of Attack of the Herbals (2011) by Jason G — 29 Aug 2012
I would like to make it known that it was the film promoters and not the film makers that sold it as a hot fuzz/shaun of the dead rival. We didn't have anything in mind when we made this movie. We had absolutely no money .
And I don't mean like when a movie is described as low budget because it cost a couple of million. We literally had nothing. Camelot entertainment cut a rough trailer which cost more than our movie! We were a group of friends who picked up a camera and got together at weekends and tried to make a film.
We know all the film's faults better than anyone and we don't tell everyone that it is amazing. It is what it is and under the circumstances we are still pretty proud of what we achieved. We can only get better with experience.
After all, if we didn't have Bad Taste then we wouldn't have The Lord of the Rings.
