Review of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958) by Mark K — 14 Jan 2011
An endlessly boring science fiction film, more heavy on plot than special effects. I will admit the acting is better than in the Ed Wood films, but the film so tiresome and hard to follow from an interest perspective that it will not grab a person's attention.
At times when I was watching it, I was zipping through parts just to get to the ending and the film itself is only 67 minutes. Also, and perhaps this is the version I watched, it is too hard to see things.
Way to dark of film quality. The menial and infrequent special effects were pretty lame and the only laughable part was the giant ping-pong ball spaceship. This film is a dud!
