Review of Atonement (2007) by Jordan P — 25 Oct 2012
How do you Atone for your sins? Never have I seen a movie based on a book put it in visual terms so well. I cried my eyes out watching this movie, both of happiness and sadness. James McAvoy kicks ass he is strongly becoming a better actor with every movie he comes out with year by year.
The one thing I love of this movie is how the smallest moment in time makes such an impact on the world around the characters for a lot longer and deeper than they all think. Not to give away anything I will just say that movies and books like this prove why every little thing in this life is significant and I mean everything.
Joe Wright kicks ass, only a visionary could have brought this book to screen so well, I really didn't want it to end, the cinamatography fuckin rocks. anyone who is a reader will agree this is one of the best adaptations of a novel in a long time.
