Review of Atonement (2007) by Juancho F — 12 May 2012
When a young girl sees her older sister being intimate with a male she misinterprets the situation, tells a lie and ruins three lives, including her own. The story, beginning in the 1930s and stretching to modern day, is fascinating all the way through and in the end questions the intricacies of atonement and betrayal.
Beautiful cinematography and excellent acting.
