Review of Atonement (2007) by Katherine P — 10 Apr 2011
Beautiful and misunderstood by many, Atonement has a brilliant cast with chemistry and soul. Ronan's performance has the restraint of a seasoned actor and if nothing else, purchase the soundtrack. The attention to detail and technical merit (camera work like nothing I've ever seen) make this film so much more than a love story or period piece.
Dare I say, it may be better than it's source material.
