Review of Atonement (2007) by Zachary N — 27 Aug 2014
The movie confidently succeeds in exploring its titular theme on all fronts: A compelling narrative structure, well defined characters and setting, subtlety when needed, excellent casting and acting, and a superb ending that hammers home on maximum catharsis.
Despite this, the only real flaw is that, because it's so entirely straightforward, there's no reason to revisit.
