Review of Atonement (2007) by Hyam Q — 28 Dec 2011
Joe Wright, director of the BAFTA award winner Pride and Prejudice, teams up with Keira Knightley once again for another award winning movie. Atonement has a lot going for it: great acting, cinematography, art direction, score, and dialogue.
I really liked this tragic romantic movie with some good performances. I dont know who was a better villain if Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men or Saoirse Ronan in her role as Briony Tallis (she was really creepy).
Anyways this was a great story, beautifully presented with flashbacks.
