Things I loved about Atomic Blonde:
*Charlize Theron kicking all sorts of ass, convincingly, brutally, and (at times) with a touch of dark humor.
*The representation of the division between East and West Berlin.
*The 80s music - when it's there.
*James McAvoy's unhinged performance.
*Sophia Boutella's sexy, sweetheart spy character.
*John Goodman (DUH).
*Stoliy vodka!
Things I didn't love about Atomic Blonde:
*The muddled plot, which ultimately becomes difficult to follow all the way through. Whats happening in any given moment is clear, but not how it relates to the overall plot.
*Long, talky sequences in between action set pieces that bring the pace of the movie to a crawl.
*The strange musical choices where music is either absent, or underselling the action.
