Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Katrina J — 03 Jan 2018

I wasn't expecting cinema genius but it was still more bland than it looked in its marketing. There are some very impressive sequences, most notably the staircase shot that looks like one take as it eventually turns into a detailed car chase scene.

But the rest of it is all attitude with a dull story and not as much 80s exploitation that it's obviously trying to be.
