Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Arseniy V — 11 Nov 2017

The movie was a little confusing sometimes, the main plot was getting way too mixed with the political aspects of the time and space of the action, but except that there aren't many other flaws in this movie, it was visually stunning, filled with uncensored nudity and bloody violence, the camera angles were amazing and the director of this movie, David Leitch, should be proud! Both the main character and the antagonist had a great influence on the plot and were amazingly interesting.

The cast of this movie was perfect, to say the least. Charlize Theron was incredibly captivating and did a great job on emerging the audience. James McAvoy, who is one of my personal favorite actors to this day did a great job with his role and he keeps to amaze me with his talent.

And finally, the action sequences, which is probably where this movie shines the brightest, specifically a long one near the end of the movie, in this sequence the protagonist, in order to complete her mission, had to transport someone safely, this task becomes harder and harder as she is forced to hide in a building and to fight her way out.

This fight is not at all fair to her, at times even pulling us to the edge of our sits, the sequence was unusually long and that just made it better. Overall a great action movie with a hilarious punchline near the end.

If you're looking for entertainment, action and violence, pain and suffering, correlations to real-life history that emerge you even further to the plot and overall badassery, this is the movie for you.
