Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Dubeau — 14 Oct 2017
The story of Atomic was kind of interesting. Located in the 80's, they put a good setting for the story. But overall, I wasn't that exited by the dialogues in general. The fighting scenes were very well done, very accurate and well framed.
The music was from the 80's soundtrack. Even if it fits the time period, I got extremely annoyed to hear only that in the movie. It became tiresome and didn't fit the actions. The excessive smoking just remove any sexiness that went into some scenes, and seemed more of a shameful plug in the end.
The ending twist was closed very fast. I give it a 65%, not the best movie but the action was fair.
