Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Scott A — 09 Aug 2017
It's fun and thrilling. Charlize Theron plays a badass bisexual spy in this action packed film based on a graphic novel. The editing style is nice. It felt good to slip into this dream, and the 1989 Berlin setting with '80s music covers really made it.
There's some MTV and early video game stuff thrown in as candy. The fight scenes were some of the best I've seen in cinema. So far, Atomic Blonde is my favorite film of 2017.
