Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Ophillia L — 10 Aug 2017
Excellent choreography, amazing aesthetics, experienced acting and a cool soundtrack. The creators of John Wick brought their fluid action style with them and that created a familiar warm feeling while watching the film, my jaw even dropped sometimes.
I carful watched for the amount of cuts that they used when filming the main actresses scenes and they would go on for so long that I didn't even notice if there even were any cuts in those breathtaking scenes.
My only criticism is the plot. It was overly complicated, the overwhelming amount of betrayals made it difficult to to follow in those small moments and even though I understood it, I can see how this could be too much for older audiences.
Other than those objections, I thoroughly enjoyed the film and I suggest to see it on the big screen!
