Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Tom B — 28 Jul 2017
Very good secret agent movie. Theron's spy does gritty and dangerous, but becomes somewhat one-dimensional, unless you count her bathtub and underwear scenes. Great at fighting and killing, but mIssing the charm and humor of Connery's 007.
To protect her from appearing slutty, she beds only a lesbian encounter, while every man she meets tried to kill her. Except for the contact in Berlin who eventually smuggles her to the West, whose character might have been given more time.
