Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Mnc!!! — 28 May 2017
Charlize Theron looks like a bad ass female version of John Wick which would be cool to see, but she's then thrown around as some half naked, and fully naked, sex toy for men's pleasure. There's even a lesbian sex scene that abuses the talents of both Theron and Sofia Boutella.
There's some great action with a lot of fantastic actresses and actors involved, but it looks like there's no emotional stakes or any real point to this. It's a shame because Theron deserves better.
