Review of ATM (2012) by Kyle H — 06 Mar 2012
An interesting thriller with a generally good cast (Josh Peck is one of my favorite under-rated actors) that brought some generally good acting to the table. Unfortunately, the entertainment hinges only on circumstance and not so much on development of relationships or depth of character.
Even in terms of circumstances, the ending - probably in an attempt to push existential themes - seems unsatisfying and is wanting. There is no reason why anyone keeping up with significant cultural films should need to pay attention to this picture, but it has its amusing moments none-the-less.
