Review of ATM (2012) by Don S — 06 Feb 2013
Well, they did manage to make it suspenseful to go into an indoor ATM booth! But my-oh-my the weird plot points. One, no one drives their friend home in the situation David finds himself. No one. And Corey, in the real world, wouldn't ask.
Period. Two, why does the booth door sometimes need an ATM card, and sometimes not? Three, why is water that isn't even knee deep so hard to stand up in? Seriously? And four, and biggest for me, why don't the two young, healthy looking adult males even try to take on the parka guy? They have a bottle of booze and a metal waste basket to use, and there is even Emily! That's three on one, with a couple of make shift weapons! And they don't even try, or really even mention it? Really? Just not believable.
These are two guys I don't ever want to meet. Still, I will look twice before entering a booth like that!
