Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012) by David W — 11 Oct 2012
Well as usual the unbiased movie critics can't pull their big heads from their dark places long enough to review the movie from a fan's perspective. Yep, same as first time, the movie is low budget, the acting stiff, the special effects are on a par with Cable TV, blah blah blah, if it were another POS Michael Moore film they would love it.
For fans of the book, and people like me waiting for part two, this was a fun movie. I enjoyed it, I loved all the bit part actors from shows I used to watch. I especially enjoyed, for once, seeing a movie that jabbed at liberals instead of the other way around. Is it a blockbuster, hell no, could it be done better by a big studio? damned right it could, but none of them have the balls to take on a movie that lambasts everything Hollywood liberals covet. So we as fans have to settle for what we can get. I enjoyed the book, I agree with the underlying message of the book, and I am happy to see the characters come to life. I even enjoyed seeing all the old school actors take up roles in the movie, it was fun seeing them again.
