Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012) by Mark K — 13 Oct 2012
I liked that they did not follow the dialog of the book quite so closely. While it worked for the book, it sounds like really bad acting when it is transferred to the screen. I am sort of shocked that not a single critic was willing to admit that he/she liked the movie when 81% of movie goers say that they liked it.
. Certainly, it was better than many of the other crappy movies that hollywood has foisted upon us this year... Well, as it stands, If you like the book, you will like the movie. If you think that this country is moving in the wrong direction, you will look at these movies and wonder how it is that our "leaders" can know of this book and still bring the economy to its knees committing the same mistakes as the politicians in these movies and Ayn Rand's book.
Regardless of where you are, politically, this is a lesson in philosophy as taught by a woman who lived through the Soviet style of government, and it should, at the very least, give one pause to think.
