Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012) by Jack O — 19 Oct 2012
Critics think this is a political movie written just for the election, with familiar terms such as "fair share" and "progressives," but it is not. The movie follows the book and uses phrases right from the book.
Remember, Ayn Rand was a college student in Russia during the Communist revolution, and wrote this book in the 50's because she was concerned about the rise of socialists, progressives or statists (whatever you want to call them).
The reason the slogans are the same now, as then, is because the old Marxist playbook has not changed. Great movie!
