Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012) by Scott A — 26 Nov 2012
Well, I am not surprised by the far left media types that hate this movie! First of all, its not a french movie with rapid flashing sub-titles and an endless drawn out slow moving pace, filled with long silent scenes where the actors look at each other and feel the part.
You the viewer, if you do not understand the silent parts, are just not educated in the liberal arts enough! This is a movie that does not show self reliance and entrepreneurship as a bad thing, and reliance on big government to take care of your every need as a good thing.
Because of this one fact, the critics, all whom subscribe to the later view, hate it, as do some viewers who also fall into that catagory. That being said, the movie was entertaining, well produced, and timely.
Only those who go in with the prejudice of a far left view of the world will not enjoy this movie. This is not a political movie, but it is a movie that does not genuflect at the altar of the left, and those on the left just can't stand that.
