Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Jeff S — 23 Apr 2011
Poor casting, photography is too dark, lame script. The only good moment in the film is the initial run of the John Galt Line. Even that was cartoonish and reminded me of scenes from the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise.
If you had not read the book, you would not have been able to follow the story. Like the others in the audience, I have been wating years for the movie and will see parts 2 and 3 if they get made. The message is clear given are prior read.
This film will not produce new converts to Objectivism.
